From Atlanta and points East Travel I-20-W to the Villa Rica/Carrollton Exit (Exit 24) and turn LEFT (west) onto GA-61. Travel about 12 miles to GA-166 (Carrollton South Bypass) and turn LEFT onto the GA-166 Bypass where Grace Lutheran Church is on the right. (Other landmarks to watch for before you reach the light at GA-166 include Richard Haney Ford and Ryan's Steakhouse on the right and McDonald’s, Zaxby’s and Longhorn Steak House on the left.) On the GA-166 Bypass, travel to the 6th traffic light. A CVS will be on the corner. At that light, turn RIGHT onto Maple Street (also GA-166). Turn RIGHT onto West Georgia Drive just past the McDonald's on the right. Follow West Georgia Drive arround to the event site. Parking will be marked. The event will be held in the Campus Center. |

From Birmingham and points West Travel I-20-E to the Bremen/Carrollton Exit (Exit 11). Turn RIGHT (South) and follow GA-27-S into Carrollton. Turn RIGHT onto Maple Street (GA-166). Turn RIGHT onto West Georgia Drive just past the McDonald's on the right. Follow West Georgia Drive arround to the event site. Parking will be marked. The event will be held in the Campus Center. |

From Griffin, Macon, and S.E. Georgia Take your best route to GA-16-W in Griffin. Follow GA-16-W toward Newnan. This road will T into GA-Alt-27. Turn RIGHT onto GA-Alt-27-N and follow the Into Newnan directions below. |

Into Newnan Take GA-Alt-27-N toward Newnan. It will continue past the court house and town square. When the road broadens, stay in the LEFT lane. IMPORTANT: When the road splits, there will be two left turn bays and one straight lane. Turn LEFT from the LEFTMOST (of 3) lane into the MIDDLE (of 3) lane. This is GA-Alt-27-N. Continue from this point using the From Newnan directions below. |

From Newnan Take GA-Alt-27-N toward Carrollton There is ongoing construction in Whitesburg: the speed limits are strictly enforced. Continue STRAIGHT on GA-Alt-27-N through the traffic circle Whitesburg. Continue on GA-Alt-27-N STRAIGHT accross the GA-166 Bypass. Continue on GA-Alt-27-N until it T-s into Newnan Street/Bankhead Highway. Turn LEFT onto Newnan Street at this intersection. Follow Newnan Street through the city square. Immediately after the city square, turn LEFT onto Maple Street. Turn RIGHT onto West Georgia Drive just past the McDonald's on the right. Follow West Georgia Drive arround to the event site. Going home through Newnan You can reverse the directions above to get home through Newnan. One important note: the downtown area of Newnan is arranged to take traffic around in a big circle around the courthouse area. When you approach the downtown area, you will come to an intersection with Jackson Street. You will not be able to continue straight. Turn RIGHT onto Jackson. Follow Jackson past the courthouse and through the center of town. Stay in the righthand lane. The road will make an abrupt left at the base of a slight hill. There will be a flashing caution light here and an intersection with a spur road that continues straight ahead. Bear to the LEFT. Immediately after the curve, turn RIGHT onto Greenville/US-27 at the next traffic signal. Follow Greenville/US-27 out of Newnan and to I-85 or GA-16. |
