Waterbearers

Welcome! I am Lady Annora Dionisia de Burgh, HWB of Meridies and Waterbearer in Charge for Border Raids.

Come one! Come all! Come join in the fun at Waterbearing Point. Instead of just sitting on the sidelines watching the battles and massacres, help volunteer for Waterbearing Point and get close encounters of the sweaty kind! No matter what kingdom you are rooting for, they all need your help keeping them hydrated and cool while fighting for your entertainment. Come help all day or just for an hour. We welcome and need all the volunteers we can get!

Waterbearing Points can be identified by the following banner: a white banner with a blue water drop.

We will have Waterbearing for the following activities:
Armoured Combat (where Main Waterbearing Point will be)
Rapier Combat
Target Archery and Live Weapons
Equestrian and Coursing
Our main need for volunteers will be for the Armoured and Rapier Combat, but helping out at the other Waterbearing points would be great.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Donations of clean 2-liter bottles will be greatly appreciated and needed. Any other donations of Waterbearing supplies will be welcomed; sports drink mix (no clear flavors, please), oranges, watermelon, pickles, pretzels, etc…

A few things to remember:
1) You must be 18 years or older to bear water on a fighting field*.
2) If you are 13-17, your parent or legal guardian must sign you up to bear water.
3) If you are 12 and under, your parent or legal guardian must sign you up AND be prepared to bear water with you.
* Please note that we can always use your help even if you are under 18!

Any children 12 and under left at Waterbearing Point without parent or legal guardian will be auctioned off into slavery to the highest bidder at court, and all proceeds will be split between Their Royal Majesties and the Meridian Waterbearers Guild!!!
